The Confucius Institute (CI) is prepared to help students at the University of Manchester to become the future leaders of the UK-China collaboration in business, trade, education, and culture. We run a number of schemes that provide financial support to help students acquire the skills they need to progress in their study of China.

To support Chinese students studying at The University of Manchester, the CI has a relationship with the Chinese Consulate, and the China Students and Scholars Association Manchester.

Confucius Institute scholarships

The Confucius Institute scholarship programme provides financial aid for students, scholars and Chinese language teachers to study in a Chinese university for a limited period.
