In the past decade, we have delivered training to the following organisations:

- Novartis;
- Manchester Airport.
How it works
We will conduct a needs analysis of the learners and, based on their specific requirements, prepare a course outline for you that will state the learning objectives.
Course delivery can be flexible at a time and place to suit individuals or groups.
In addition to face-to-face sessions, all students are given access to online learning app Yiyahanyu to enhance the learning experience through real-life scenario videos, listening, and practising with voice recognition. You can learn Chinese on the go, wherever and whenever you want to.
Our expertise
Business culture
Miscommunication between two cultures often leads to misunderstanding and even failure in doing business together.
Despite the use of the internet and mobile devices as the most common means of communication both in the UK and China, communication styles can be very different in the two countries.
We can offer training to help navigate potential pitfalls in communication and increase the chances of successful business interaction.
Understanding different leadership styles and Chinese leaders, who often play a more important role in the decision making process than their western counterparts, is a key component in our business culture training programme.
We explore the dominant cultural values and practices and how they impact on organisational cultures and leadership attributes.
Chinese society and cultures
Our expertise covers modern and contemporary Chinese history from the Qing dynasty to the present day, and how the history shapes the present society and its social values.
We can examine how Confucianism and religions such as Buddhism and Daoism influence people's behaviour and the reasons behind the recent revival of Guoxue.
Other areas of expertise include modern ballet and feminist movements, and Chinese films as a means to look at the social-economic conditions for cultural production, reception and exhibition.
