HSK Examinations

As of October 2011 The Confucius Institute at the University of Manchester is now an official HSK Test Centre in the UK for the HSK Department, National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, the People's Republic of China (Hanban). The HSK is a test designed to assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers from beginners to advanced level. Not only is it used as a standard evaluation of Chinese language ability, it also provides a reference for outside institutions and organisations. |

2012 HSK tests:
- Sunday 20th May 2012 (registration deadline: Friday 20 April)
- Sunday 2nd December 2012 (registration deadline: Friday 3 November)
Applications received after the deadline will not be processed. As places are limited, early registration is recommended. The exact test time and venue will be confirmed by email at a later date.
