Careers and employability
The Confucius Institute offers guidance and support for those who wish to seek employment and internships in China or use their Chinese language to find local employment in the UK.
In the UK, we work with Manchester-China Forum, Manchester Airport and China Britain Business Council to help them and other local businesses to fill positions that require levels of expertise on China.
We also work closely with our partner university Beijing Normal University and other selective organisations to identify English language teaching jobs in China.
Internships allow students and recent graduates to experience and gain insight into the Chinese business world with the support of professionals. Through these experiences, interns will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to enable working within Chinese culture. We have worked with InternChina and CRCC Asia who help students to find internships in China.
