3rd Confucius Institute World Conference in Beijing

At the 3rd Confucius Institute World Conference held in Beijing from 9-11 December 2008, Vice President and Dean of Faculty of Humanities, Professor Alistair Ulph was invited to speak at the Presidents' Forum on Global Education and the Confucius Institute. Over 1,000 delegates from 300 Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms across the world attended the conference. Click here for the presentation.

Professor Hong Liu, Director of the Confucius Institute and Ms Karen Wang, Administrative and Business Development Manager also attended the Conference. The Display Boards of Manchester attracted the attention of the Minister of Edcuation Mr Zhou Ji and CEO of the CI Headquarters, Ms Xu Lin.
