The co-educational secondary school with academy status for 11- to 16-year-olds is located in the Hollinwood area of Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. The academy was formed from a merger of Kaskenmoor School and South Chadderton School.

At Oasis Academy Limeside, French and Spanish are the main foreign languages for the students to take their GCSE exams in. Most students opt to study French from Y7 to Y9 and start to study Spanish from Y10 to Y12.

From 2016, Y7 students have the opportunity to study Mandarin Chinese, conducted by Miss Shuang Hong, a seconded teacher supplied by the Confucius Institute. The Chinese lesson once a week covers basic greetings in Chinese 你好 - hello, 再见 - see you and counting from one to one hundred. The students also have the chance to try their hand at writing Chinese characters and Chinese calligraphy.
